Food Packages

 

Food Packages for Ethiopian Families

 

Thanks to a special donation of IFCJ (Hakeren Leydidut) every month, 100 Ethiopian families receive food packages from Be'er-Sova. The packages contain basic food parcels, eggs and coupon for purchasing meet, chicken or fish in a supermarket.  These packages enable the families to cook for themselves and to eat nutritious food. When package is delivered, the family is able to buy medicine, to pay schools or other bills and to buy clothes for the children.

 

All of our recipients have been referred to us by the Municipal welfare authorities and all the families are in grate need for aid. Members of the recipient families are volunteering every month to pack the food packages. This way they feel they are helping themselves and their community.

 

Food Packages for Needy Families:

 

Once a month Be'er-Sova distributes an additional 100 food packages to 100 needy families. These packages are made possible by a monthly delivery of foodstuff from LATET Humanitarian Aid Organization. The food parcels are packed by volunteers from the community and delivered to the needy families. All the recipients in this project have been referred to us by the Municipal welfare authorities.

  

Passover:

 

This year for Passover, we have delivered more than 600 food packages for needy, elderly and families. We thank all our supporters, whose donations enabled us to supply food to many people in need.
